Indonesia Traing center on Ageing (ITCOA) - AGEING THE SMART WAY!
ITCOA is an
initiative of Yayasan Emong Lansia (YEL), Indonesia Alzheimer Association,
and Yayasan Karya Bhakti Ria Pembangunan (YKBRP) in response to challenges posed by
the ageing of its population.
Aims:
To improve the knowledge, understanding and skills of individuals and groups who work at all levels
in age care throughout Indonesia
Training.
Training programs are open to participants from government institutions, NGOs as well as individuals,
in areas such as:
* The ageing process (Gerontology)
* Residential and community-based care
* Home Care
* Management of Homes for the elderly
* Practical rehabilitation for elderly with disabilities
* Policies on Ageing
* Caring for frail elderly
* Guidelines to setting-up community services for elderly
* Practical guide for age care trainers
* Pre-retirement Financial Management
